A qualified RVN to assist with preparations and monitor the patient’s general anaesthetic.
Dental xray generator with appropriate height and working arm length
Dental unit
Bair Hugger or equivalent
Multiparameter monitor including capnography
Available drugs to include: glycopyrrolate, dopamine, bupivicaine 0.5%, lidocaine 2%, midazolam.
Dental xray processor with computer/laptop for viewing images
Availability of overnight hospitalisation is beneficial in some cases but not a compulsory requirement for all.
